This page explains who we are at TeddyZoo.com. Where we come from and a little bit of our history and why we came about creating this website and this company and why we have the best price, better selection and better quality plush than any of our competitors.

We at Teddy Zoo™ have quite a history behind us! Our Company has evolved over the last seven years to meet the demands of our various branded stores and also our independent client needs, Worldwide! We originally started off as a Kiosk Franchising Company selling Kiosk Packaged Systems to our customers. From there we created our Disneyeske style 3-Dimensional in-line store concept known as the Teddy Mountain® experience! We wanted to create a lasting and memorable experience like no other in the ‘unstuffed’ business today, from the ground up, focusing on a complete Thematic Retail environment. This was accomplished through the dedication and efforts of first understanding the nature of the business and interactive needs, and then applying professional design teams and technology to make our processes and experience the best it can be! Today, we own and Teddy Mountain® which is our parent ‘Retail’ operating brand, Teddy Zoo™ for wholesale and independent store needs, and also have an interest in LavaBlast Software (www.lavablast.com) for standalone or chain store software system needs. We operate Offices and Distribution Centers in several countries around the world, and are continuing to expand through our Master License & Distribution programs.

The primary reason we expanded from a Retail only business all the way through to being our own wholesale provider is simple. We had to gain control of different aspects of our business, which include control of our Designs, Quality, and Cost. We understand that if we are not a good provider, our stores and our Teddy Mountain® brand would suffer from lack of quality and profits. This is how we are largely different from our competitors. We have an ongoing vested relationship with our buyers, as they just so happen to be our store owners! Therefore, we don't just buy what manufacturers have produced and hope it will sell. We actually take input from our clients and improve our products through and extensive design, sample, inspection process. We tell our manufacturers what we want, and have them do several iterations until it is just perfect in terms of fabrics, design, quality, and of course - Cost! This has a huge impact on the products we sell and the relationships we grow with our customers. If you have ordered from any other wholesaler, you know what we mean by that!

Our Company's Operating Officers all come from a retail / wholesale background, with strong technology and logistics experience. Technology is really what the company relies on to help reduce operating costs, which we pass on to retailers like you for lower cost of goods, better quality, and smoother control and ease of use of your business. An example of this is that we went from buying an off the shelf Point-of-Sale, which half heartedly met our needs, all the way to designing our own Point-of-Sale and Inventory Management Software to accommodate the very business we are in. Our Point-of-Sale is specifically designed for the “Stuff-Your-Own-Bear” industry and was programmed by the very best of Software Engineer's from Lavablast Software! All the specifications were driven by our company and the over 100 years of combined retail background we originally had to start this company with.

In Summary, we are a very dedicated group of experienced professionals, with clear goals and mindset on this unique business. We either do it right, with our customers business needs in mind, or do not do it at all. We put all of our energy into this business, everyday, as do our clients. Our Retail background, the building and operating of stores, grounds us and allows us to appreciate the Retailers perspective. Without this, we would be just another wholesaler where the sales cycle is cut and dry.
